The client must not be altered (unencrypted clients will not work)
The server works best with a fully patched client (7.0.24.3 as of this note). All the map shards are fully spawned and nearly every in-game item can be crafted. The game is quite customized and has a leveling system. For more details, check out the table below and the rest of the articles.

To gain stats (strength, dexterity, or intelligence) on Athlore, you have to gain experience. It is possible to gain experience by killing monsters, or crafting items.
